On October 7, Putney Family Services participated in the annual Harvest Festival at the Putney School. Our food concession was very successful thanks to the many generous donations from the community. The chilly and gray October morning began with volunteers setting up the tent, delivering baked goods, and just general prep work. Others set up the huge grill and warmed it up to begin grilling hamburgs and hot dogs for the hungry festival-goers. The day started slow, but the aroma of the burgers and dogs soon drew many our way.
Many thanks to the following businesses and individuals who made this so successful and fun: C&S Wholesale Grocers, Price Chopper, Cota & Cota, Leader Distribution Systems, Green Mountain Orchard, Wal-Mart, Amber & Jason Hubner, Crystal Kennett, Julie Forsythe, Meghan Benzel, Landmark College Students, Annette & Greg Wilson, Kerri Harlow, Dylan Devlin, Jacqueline Lichtenberg, Paul Gustafson, Tom Ehrenberg, Steve Ingram, Kate Cleghorn, and Henny Walsh. Thanks to all of you, we had a great day!
